Peaberry coffee is a naturally occurring coffee bean mutation where only one round seed develops inside the coffee cherry instead of the usual two flat-sided beans. This gives the bean a small, oval or pea-like shape—hence the name “peaberry.” Peaberries are often separated during processing and are prized for their bright acidity, concentrated flavor, and smooth body. They occur in about 5–10% of a coffee harvest.

Introducing our newest release from Apia, Risaralda—an exclusive peaberry blend crafted by award-winning producer and roaster Oscar Restrepo. This rare micro-lot brings together washed, honey, and natural processed beans for a uniquely complex cup bursting with layered sweetness, vibrant fruit notes, and a silky, balanced finish. A true celebration of Apia’s terroir and Oscar’s mastery.

“I absolutely LOVE Gold Medusa Coffee!!! It has a taste like no other coffee I’ve tasted. I always make sure I have a bag of their ground coffee so I can enjoy it daily. Right now I purchase my bags of ground coffee at the Mt Holly Farmer’s Market. You can truly taste the freshness. I also love this family! This is a family owned business. They love what they do and they love their customers. I HIGHLY recommend that you at least try their coffee. I can almost guarantee you will be hooked!!!"
